AL-BIRR is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or the technology used to browse.
Our Commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This means our site should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for as many users as possible.
What We Do
- Provide sufficient colour contrast across all five site themes
- Use semantic HTML so screen readers can navigate content meaningfully
- Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard accessible
- Include descriptive alt text on all product images
- Respect the user's reduced-motion preference system-wide
- Use ARIA labels where native HTML semantics are insufficient
Known Limitations
We are continually working to improve. Some third-party content embedded on the site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are working with our providers to resolve these issues.
